Omniwallet
smile.

Order 501 costs you
$150 more.

Smile.io is the most installed loyalty app on Shopify and setting it up takes minutes. The problem comes later: their pricing jumps in order tiers, and growing just a bit can multiply your bill by four from one month to the next.

A staircase with high steps
versus a ramp

Both pricing plans are published, so the comparison is direct. What changes is the shape: in Smile.io the price jumps abruptly when crossing an order tier; in Omniwallet it goes up by cents, in proportion to what you use.

Monthly volume — comparative scale, non-linear

Let's do the math on the extra order. On the Growth plan, every 100 orders above the 2,500 included cost $20: twenty cents on the dollar per order. In Omniwallet, the extra activity starts at €0.10 and goes down to €0.02 as the volume grows. And in the lower tier the difference is even sharper: going from 500 to 501 orders takes you from $49 to $199, four times more for a difference of one order.

Core Differences

Eight things Omniwallet
includes out of the box

We acknowledge the parts where they tie: points for purchases and actions, referrals, store credit and coupons, program analytics dashboard, and a setup process that takes minutes. The interesting part starts right after.

The card lives in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet

From the 39 € plan, with real-time balance and tier updates, push to the lock screen, and QR and NFC identification at checkout. The wallet pass does not appear in any of Smile.io's plans.

Direct channel to the phone

Your ecommerce and your checkout, whatever they are

Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento 2, and BigCommerce, plus Spanish POS and ERPs like Ágora, Stockagile, a3innuva, and stm, with physical store management. Smile.io works on Shopify and BigCommerce.

Multi-platform and local POS

VIP tiers aren't behind a $199 plan

Tiers with multipliers, points expiration with exceptions per tier, and blocked points with delayed activation. In Smile.io VIP tiers and points expiration appear starting from the Growth plan.

Without upgrading plans

The API, included from the first plan

REST API, webhooks, and keys with configurable scopes on all plans, including the free one. In Smile.io API access is listed under the Plus plan, the one for $999 a month.

No tech toll

Loyalty Market: rewards, not just discounts

Catalog featuring physical products with stock and SKU, gift cards from major brands, dynamic coupons, and redemption management with statuses and home delivery, published on your own domain. In Smile.io the reward is a discount, free product, or free shipping on the store.

Catalog and logistics included

Business analytics, not just program metrics

RFM report with seven segments and AI reading, Commerce report with Pareto, CLV, frequently bought together, dead stock, and at-risk customers, and ROPO attribution of in-store sales to online campaigns. They have predictive analytics for the program: retention, ROI, referrals, and LTV.

RFM · Pareto · ROPO

Automated WhatsApp and email with your own SMTP

Welcome messages and points addition/deduction via WhatsApp, with delivery tracking, plus transactional email with your server and templates. Without having to pay for a separate messaging tool.

Own channels

Workflows, roulettes, and points for sports

Visual node editor with 16 templates, configurable lucky roulettes, Social Points for following you on networks or leaving a Google review, and Strava converting kilometers and elevation into points.

Loyalty Master

Stop searching for the data.
Just ask for it.

Loyalty Master is our artificial intelligence agent and lives inside your account. It has access to everything in it —audiences, points program, Loyalty Market, communications, campaigns, channels, and analytics— and turns any of those data points into answers, reports, and actions. Instead of browsing dashboards, you type what you need.

Reports RFM segmentations, points program performance, inactive or at-risk customers, best customers by value, and campaign results. In text, in a table, as a comparison, or as an executive summary, depending on how you ask.
Executes Sets up complete loyalty campaigns, creates automation workflows, and leaves part of the program configuration ready for your team to review and activate.
Advises With full visibility of the account, it cross-references information and recommends: which segments to prioritize, which automations have the most impact, where there is margin, and what goals to set.

Give me the 30 customers with the highest churn risk and export them to CSV

I have cross-referenced recency, frequency, and value over the last 12 months. They are 30 customers with 18,420 € of accumulated CLV and an average of 147 days without purchasing. 22 are in the At Risk segment and 8 in Hibernating. at-risk-customers.csv

Set up a reactivation campaign for that group with 300 bonus points

Campaign created as a draft: rule returning customer, action add 300 points, and push to wallet card upon accreditation. I have limited it to one execution per customer. Review it and activate it whenever you want. Campaign in draft

And behind Loyalty Master,
nine other new features

Everything on this list was released this year and is already in production. If you saw an Omniwallet demo six months ago, this is what you are missing.

New

Campaigns

Rule and action engine: nine purchase conditions, point balance, tier or date; and actions for points, product, coupon, email, push, webhook, or segment change. With tier groups so each customer receives only the best reward.

New

Segments

Named audiences that are filled manually or via CSV and are used as triggers or conditions inside workflows. Each segment shows which automations it is participating in.

New

Custom fields

Eight field types with validations, required flags, uniqueness, and regex, in four languages. With a stable slug to consume them from the API and use them as a segmentation criterion.

New

RFM Report

Classifies the base into Champions, Loyal, Promising, New, At Risk, Hibernating, and Lost, with mean and median LTV, seasonal heatmap, retention, and churn. Each segment can be exported with one click.

New

Commerce Report

Revenue concentration via Pareto, CLV distribution, frequently bought together, sales velocity changes, dead stock, category affinity, and suggested free shipping threshold.

New

Journeys and ROPO

Nominative sessions per customer, conversion funnel, and automatic detection of the "research online, purchase offline" pattern, attributing those physical revenues to the campaign that originated them.

New

Social Points

Points for following your brand on Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube, or for leaving a Google review. Each network with its own points and URL.

New

Strava Integration

The customer connects their account via OAuth and their kilometers, moving time, and elevation gain are converted into points. With sports challenges, daily limits, and automatic blocking of suspicious activities.

Beta

Dynamic coupons

The discount code is generated in your store at the time of redemption, with a fixed amount, percentage, buy X get Y, free shipping, or free product. It refunds points if the customer doesn't use it.

The fine print on scope

Which plan unlocks
what you need

An entry-level price means little if the pieces that truly support a program are two solid tiers higher up. This is what each step unlocks, according to what each platform publishes.

Integrations

Where your sales come from
and how many connections they allow.

There are two different questions: what platforms can the program work with, and how many active connections does your plan allow. In Smile.io the second has a number; in Omniwallet, it doesn't.

The practical consequence: if tomorrow you open a physical store with Ágora at checkout or migrate to WooCommerce, with us it's a plugin and with them there is no path forward. And if what you want is to push your program data to your own system, with us the API is included in the 39 € plan and with them in the $999 one.

Real cost

Three volumes,
with both public pricing plans

Both platforms publish their prices, so there are no estimates here: these are their tiers and their overage fees per extra order, applied to three store sizes.

What counts as an activity

Any operation that adds or subtracts points: a purchase, a redemption, birthday points, a review, a roulette spin. As a reference, your total activities roughly equal your monthly orders multiplied by 1.3. Smile.io bills directly based on store orders.

Who is each one for

We aren't always the answer

Smile.io has been doing it well for ten years and has thousands of brands behind it. If your use case is in the left column, we'll save you the demo.

Smile.io is a better fit if…

Their model makes more sense in these cases
  • You sell only on Shopify or Shopify Plus and have no plans to move away from there
  • You don't need a wallet card, and you don't care that the pass doesn't exist
  • Your order volume is very low and their free plan of up to 200 orders is enough for you
  • You don't need automation flows or physical rewards

Omniwallet is a better fit if…

This is where we make a difference
  • You want to know what you'll pay without having to ask for a custom quote
  • The card in Apple and Google Wallet is the center of the program
  • You sell on WooCommerce, PrestaShop, or Magento, or you have Ágora or Stockagile at checkout
  • You have a real physical store and want to measure which physical sale comes from which online campaign
  • WhatsApp is your channel and you want email with your own server
  • You need to reward with physical products and gift cards, not just discounts
  • You want to ask an AI to build a campaign for you

Growing shouldn't
multiply your bill.

Set up the entire program for free, with the wallet card, the API, and all the features of the Advanced plan from day one. And if you already have a running program, we import your base with their points and distribute the card to all your members via WhatsApp or email without interrupting service.

Smile.io data taken from their official plan and features sheet on August 1, 2026: Free up to 200 orders, Starter $49 up to 500, Growth $199 with 2,500 included and $20 for each additional 100, and Plus $999 with 7,500 included and $5 for each additional 100.
Smile.io publishes its prices in dollars. Omniwallet prices are in euros, excluding VAT.
